Coconut Brownies

- 1 stick margarine or butter
- 1/2 c. cocoa
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. flaked coconut
- nuts, if desired
Directions

1Melt margarine in large mixing bowl.

2Beat in cocoa and sugar. When mixture is smooth, beat in eggs, one at a time, then vanilla.

3Stir in flour, salt and coconut (nuts, if desired). Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan and bake for 25 minutes at 350°. Let cool in pan on racks and cut into squares.

4Top with Creamy Brownie Frosting.
