- 1 box golden butter cake mix
- 2 c. sour cream
- 1 1/2 c. Cool Whip
- 2 c. sugar
- 3 (6 oz.) pkg. frozen coconut
Directions

1Bake cake as directed using 2 pans.

2When completely cool, split each layer in half.

3Combine sugar, sour cream and coconut. Chill.

4Reserve 1 cup sour cream mixture.

5Add Cool Whip.

6Mix until smooth.

7Spread on top and sides of cake.

8Store in airtight cake container for 3 days before serving.
