- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 c. coconut
- 1 carton Cool Whip
Directions

1Bake cake as directed in 9 x 13-inch pan.

2Cool about 15 minutes.

3Punch holes in cake.

4Combine milk, sugar and half of the coconut in saucepan.

5Let come to boil and simmer 1 minute. Spoon over warm cake. Cool completely.

6Add rest of coconut to Cool Whip.

7Spread over cake.

8Keep refrigerated.
