- 1 yellow cake mix
- 1 (16 oz.) sour cream
- 1 box powdered sugar
- 1 (14 oz.) pkg. coconut
- 2 c. Cool Whip
Directions

1Bake cake according to directions.

2Cool and split layers crosswise.

3Mix sour cream, powdered sugar and coconut.

4Mix well (reserve 1 1/2 cups).

5Spread in between layers and stack.

6Add 2 cups Cool Whip to reserved portion and mix well.

7Spread on top and sides of cake.

8Put in refrigerator for 48 hours, covered.
