  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 2 1/2 c. sifted cake flour
  • 5 egg whites, beaten
  • 1/2 c. melted oleo
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar.

    Mix dry ingredients and add alternately with water.

    Add vanilla and egg whites and blend in well.

    Bake in 3 round greased and floured cake pans at 350° until golden brown.

    Cool and frost with coconut cake frosting.
