- 2 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. sugar or 3/4 c.
- 4 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 3 or 4 egg yolks
- 1/2 stick butter
- 2 c. coconut
Directions

1Heat 2 cups of the milk in a heavy saucepan.

2In mixing bowl mix sugar, cornstarch, 1/2 cup of the milk and the egg yolks. Stir into steaming hot milk and cook until thick.

3Add the butter and coconut.

4Stir and put into baked pie shell and top with your favorite meringue.
