- 2 c. milk, scalded
- 1/3 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 stick butter
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 c. flaked coconut
- 1/8 tsp. salt
Directions

1Combine butter, sugar, salt, flour and well beaten egg yolks. Add milk slowly, stirring constantly.

2Cook over hot water until thick and smooth.

3Add coconut and vanilla.

4Pour into baked pie shell.

5Cover with meringue.

6Sprinkle with coconut.

7Bake at 325° until slightly brown.
