- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. milk
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 1/2 c. scalded milk
- 1 c. frozen coconut
- 5 Tbsp. flour
- dash of salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Mix sugar, flour and salt with 1/4 cup cold milk.

2Add to scalded milk; cook over low heat (or cook in a double boiler) until thick.

3Add beaten yolks and cook 2 minutes longer.

4Remove from heat; add vanilla and coconut.

5Cool and pour into baked pie shell.
