  • 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. milk
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3/4 c. coconut
  • 1 baked pie shell (8-inches)
  • 2 egg whites (for meringues)

    Gradually stir in

    Cook and stir over medium heat until it comes to

    Continue to cook 1 minute;

    stir. Remove from heat;

    stir 1/2 mixture into egg yolks, then stir egg mixture
