  • 13 cup sugar
  • 14 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 12 cup shredded coconut
  • 12 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

    Add sugar, cornstarch, and salt to beaten egg yolks.

    Pour the scalded milk into this; return to double boiler, stir and cook until thickened.
