Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. almond extract
  • 2 c. sifted flour
  • 1 c. finely chopped pecans
  • 1 c. chopped shredded coconut

Directions

    Cream first 4 ingredients.

    Add remaining ingredients.

    Mix thoroughly and shape into balls, using teaspoons for each.

    Place on ungreased cookie sheet.

    Bake in moderate oven (350°) for 15 to 18 minutes, until golden brown.

    If desired, dip warm cookies in pineapple glaze.

    Let stand one hour before storing.
