Coconut Macaroons

  • 2/3 cup condensed milk
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 3 1/2 cups shredded coconut completely dry

Directions

    Preheat the oven to 160C.

    Mix the egg white, milk, vanilla, and salt together in a bowl.

    Add the coconut and mix all of the ingredients together until the coconut is completely soaked.

    Cover a baking tray with cooking spray or parchment paper so that the macaroons do not stick.

    Drop tablespoons of the coconut mixture on the baking tray, about 2 inches apart from each other.

    Bake the macaroons for 20-30 minutes or until the outside layers become a light golden color.

    Take the tray out of the oven and let the macaroons cool for 10 minutes before serving.
