- 1 c. light brown sugar
- 1/2 c. milk or cream
- 2 c. shredded coconut
- 1/2 c. melted butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
Directions

1Combine all ingredients and mix well.

2Divide mixture between 2 baked 8-inch round cake layers.

3Spread evenly on top of each cake layer.

4Place cake dish on tray shelf in center position.

5(Use ovenproof glass or ceramic dish that will withstand the browning element heat.)

6Do one layer at a time, positioning the cake correctly under the browning element.
