Ingredients
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 4 Tbsp. flour (plain)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. milk, scalded
- 2 egg yolks, beaten
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 2/3 can coconut (Angel Flake)
Directions

1Mix dry ingredients.

2Add milk slowly while stirring.

3Cook in double boiler until well thickened.

4Pour over egg yolks, stirring rapidly.

5Add margarine and pour back into top of double boiler. Cook a little longer.

6Remove from heat, cool and add vanilla and coconut.

7Pour into baked pastry shell.

8Cover with meringue and sprinkle well with remaining coconut.

9Place in 350° oven and brown.
