- 2/3 c. sugar
- 2 c. milk
- 1/4 c. cornstarch or 1/3 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. coconut
- 3 egg yolks
Directions

1Blend sugar, egg yolks and flour; then add to milk.

2Cook until thick.

3Remove from fire; add butter, coconut and vanilla. Pour into baked pie shell.

4Top with meringue.

5Bake 12 to 15 minutes until meringue is browned.
