- 1 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 3/4 c. evaporated milk
- 3 eggs, well beaten
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- 1 c. coconut
- 1 baked pie crust
Directions

1Mix sugar and cornstarch together.

2Add just enough milk to make a paste.

3Add eggs and mix well.

4Add balance of milk, a little at a time until blended well.

5Cook on medium heat until mixture is thick.

6Remove from heat and add coconut and flavoring and stir.

7Let cool and pour into baked pie crust and top with Cool Whip.

8If mixture is too thick, you can add a little milk before you place in crust.
