- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained (2 Tbsp. juice reserved)
- 1/2 c. flaked coconut
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 3/4 c. granulated sugar
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/3 c. butter
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2In 9-inch round layer pan, blend 1/4 cup butter and brown sugar.

3Place in oven for 5 minutes to soften.

4Remove from oven; add pineapple and coconut.

5Mix and spread in even layer over melted mixture in bottom of pan.

6Set aside.
