  • 2 sticks butter
  • 2/3 c. Crisco
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. whole milk
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. coconut flavoring
  • 1 can Angel Flake coconut

Directions

    Cream sugar and shortening.

    Add eggs one at a time.

    Add flour, baking powder and salt, alternating with milk.

    Add flavorings and coconut.

    Pour into a greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 325° for 45 minutes.

    Reduce heat to 300° and bake 45 minutes more or until done.
