- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 3 c. sugar
- 6 eggs
- 3 c. plain flour
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. thawed, frozen coconut
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. coconut flavoring
Directions

1Cream the butter, shortening and cream cheese; gradually add sugar.

2Beat well at medium speed.

3Add eggs one at a time. Combine flour, salt and baking soda.

4Add to creamed mixture, stirring just until blended.

5Stir in vanilla and coconut flavorings until blended.

6Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 to 15 minutes.

7Remove on wire rack and let cool.
