  • dash of salt
  • 2 c. plain flour
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 can Angel Flake coconut
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp. coconut flavoring

Directions

    Cream together Crisco and sugar; add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.

    Sift flour and baking powder.

    Add dry ingredients, alternating with milk.

    Add flavoring and coconut. Pour into Bundt or tube pan and bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes.
