- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. Crisco
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. butter flavoring
- 6 eggs
- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 can coconut (flaked)
Directions

1Preheat oven to 325°.

2Cream Crisco and sugar.

3Add vanilla and butter flavoring.

4Add eggs, one at a time; mix well.

5(Use high speed with electric mixer.)

6Sift flour and salt together.

7Then add slowly.

8Fold in coconut.

9Pour into 10-inch stem pan that has been well-greased and dusted with flour.

10Bake at 325° for about 1 hour and 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
