  • 1 c. butter
  • 2 1/2 c. sifted flour
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts or peanuts or pecans
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Shape batter into a cocoon shape.

    While warm, roll in 10x sugar.

    Bake at 325° for 15 minutes on bottom rack, then 15 minutes on middle rack.
