Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine
  • 1/4 c. confectioners sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 c. all-purpose flour

Directions

    Cream butter with sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add 1/2 cup nuts and stir.

    Blend flour and remaining nuts and add to mix.

    Shape like cocoons on ungreased cookie sheets.

    Bake at 325° for 20 minutes.

    When cool, roll in confectioners sugar. Yields 32 cocoons.
