  • 1 lb. cod or haddock
  • 1 c. tomato sauce
  • 1/2 c. grated American cheese or 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine

Directions

    Cut fish into 3 servings; sprinkle with salt.

    Place in greased oven-glass pie pan.

    Pour tomato sauce and lemon juice over fish, sprinkle with cheese and dot with bits of margarine.

    Bake in hot oven at 400° until fish flakes and cheese has browned lightly, about 25 minutes.
