- 3 lb. boneless codfish
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. shortening
- 1 medium sized onion, diced
- 1/2 tsp. hot pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, diced
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 c. flour
- 3 eggs
Directions

1Soak codfish overnight.

2Drain off water.

3Run through meat grinder or chop in food processor with onion and garlic.

4When done mix together with eggs, flour and other ingredients.

5Drop by spoon into shortening or any cooking oil.

6Fry until golden brown.
