- 1 pkg. dried codfish, salted (about 1 lb.)
- 4 medium size potatoes
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 medium thinly sliced onion
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. parsley
Directions

1Soak codfish in water overnight.

2Drain off water and place codfish and peeled potatoes in cold water to cook together for 1/2 hour.

3Mash potatoes.

4Shred codfish.

5Then mix the two together. Add egg, onion, pepper and parsley.

6Form into cakes; fry on both sides until brown.
