- 4 eggs
- 1-1/2 cups brown sugar
- 2 cups 35% cream
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup coffee brewed and chilled
- 1/2 cup raisins
- zest of 1/2 lemon
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 6 cups brioche or egg bread, stale and cubed
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350 F. Whip eggs and brown sugar. Add cream, milk, coffee, vanilla and lemon zest. stir well. Pour the mix over the bread cubes and allow to sit for 20 minutes. Sprinkle raisins on top. Transfer mixture to a buttered bread pan and cover it with aluminum foil. Cook for 45 minutes. Serve with a drizzle of 35% cream.
