   Put the remaining mixture into a mixing bowl

   blend in the 1 cup buttermilk, 2 eggs and the 1 teaspoon soda.

    Put into 2 round cake pans and sprinkle the 1 cup of reserved crumbs on top. Bake 30 minutes at 350°.
