  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 pt. sour cream
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. pecans, chopped
  • 1 c. coconut (if desired)
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp. powdered sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar

Directions

    Mix cake mix, sugar and oil together; add eggs.

    Mix well. Add sour cream, vanilla, pecans and coconut.

    Grease and flour tube pan.

    Mix powdered sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over bottom of pan.

    Pour in 1/2 of mixture batter, then sprinkle the cinnamon and brown sugar over the batter, then cover with the remaining batter.

    Bake at 350° for 60 minutes.

    Let cool in pan 15 minutes before removing from pan.
