- 4 cups sifted all-purpose flour (divided)
- 1 pkg. active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup ground almonds (can use other types of nuts)
- 1/2 cup chopped raisins
- 2 eggs (slightly beaten)
- 2 1 lb. coffee cans
Directions

1Mix 2 cups of flour with yeast.

2Stir water, milk, butter, sugar and salt over low heat until butter melts.

3Cool for about 5 minutes.
