Ingredients
- 4 c. flour
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. oleo
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
- 1/2 c. chopped raisins
Directions

1Mix 2 cups flour with yeast.

2Stir water, milk, oleo, sugar and salt over low heat until oleo melts.

3Cool 5 minutes.

4Add yeast and flour mixture; blend.

5Add remaining flour, eggs, and raisins.

6Knead on floured board until smooth and elastic.

7Coat inside of 2 (1 pound) coffee cans with small amount of oil. Divide dough in half.

8Put in cans and put lids on.

9Let rise until 1-inch from top of cans.

10Remove lids and bake at 375° for 35 minutes or until top sounds hollow when tapped.
