- 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
- 1/2 c. cold coffee
- 2 c. hot coffee
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs, separated
- 1 tsp. brandy flavoring
- 1 c. heavy cream
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 sq. unsweetened chocolate
- 1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
Directions

1Soften gelatin in cold coffee.

2Dissolve in hot coffee.

3Add sugar, stir to dissolve.

4Pour in slowly well-beaten egg yolks. Chill until consistency of unbeaten egg whites.

5Add flavoring. Whip cream.

6Fold in.

7Beat egg whites with salt; fold in.

8Spoon into pie shell.

9Chill until set.

10Garnish with shaved chocolate.
