- 1 (1 lb.) box brown sugar
- 1 c. oil
- 1 c. instant coffee (heaping tsp. coffee granules and hot water to make 1 c.)
- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 small pkg. chocolate chips (6 oz.)
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. soda
Directions

1Cream eggs and sugar. Add oil and coffee. Gradually add flour that has been sifted with soda and salt. Pour batter into ungreased 15 1/2 x 10 1/2-inch pan. If this size is not available use 1 (8-inch) square pan and 1 (9 x 13-inch) pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts over top. Bake for 30 minutes at 350°.
