  • 4 lb. chuck, sirloin, or round roast
  • salt, pepper, garlic salt
  • Tabasco sauce
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • 12 oz. Coke
  • 14 oz. bottle chili sauce
  • 3 Tbsp. olive oil

Directions

    Remove excess fat from roast, score roast all over with 3/4 inch squares, 1/2 inch deep. Rub in seasonings. Sear roast on all sides in oil. Place in crock pot, cover with chili sauce and Coke. Cook 6 hours on high or 9 hours on low setting. If you prefer, roast can be cooked in 350° oven, covered, for 3-1/2 hours.
