- 1/2 c. Crisco oil
- 3 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 3 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. milk
- 1 Tbsp. lemon extract
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, one at a time; add remaining ingredients.

2Place in cold oven set at 325° for 1 hour.

3Turn up to 350° for 1/2 hour.

4Cool on wire rack for 20 minutes.

5Turn over and remove from pan.
