- 3 c. cake flour
- 3 c. sugar
- 2 sticks whipped margarine
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 5 eggs
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1 Tbsp. butternut flavoring
- 1 c. milk
Directions

1Grease and flour 1 large cake tube pan.

2Cream Crisco and margarine.

3Add sugar and cream together.

4Add 1/2 cup flour and 1/2 cup milk and blend.

5Add eggs one at a time and blend after each addition.

6Add remaining milk and flour, blend.

7Add flavoring and blend well.

8Put cake in cold oven; turn oven to 325° for 1 hour; turn to 350° for 1/2 hour.

9Let cool in oven.
