  • 1 c. Crisco
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 c. sweet milk
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 c. plain flour
  • 1 tsp. lemon flavoring

Directions

    Cream sugar and Crisco. Add eggs, one at a time; beat well. Add milk and remaining ingredients. Mix well. Always start in a cold oven. Pour into a greased and floured tube or Bundt pan. Bake at 350° for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
