  • 2 tbsp black tea
  • 1 tsp freshly grated ginger
  • 1 tsp freshly grated lemon peel
  • 8 whole cloves.
  • 1 juice of small lemon
  • 4 cup boiling water
  • 1 tsp raw honey, or to taste

Directions

    Bring water to a boil

    put a little hot water in tea pot, let set for a minute, swish around, pour out.

    place ginger, tea, lemon peel, and cloves in ceramic teapot

    pour hot water into teapot with ingredients, stir

    let steep for 3 to 5 minutes

    serve in a teacup or mug with honey or agave nectar.
