  • 1 1/2 lb. cabbage, shredded (about 6 c.)
  • 3 Tbsp. onion
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. celery seed (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper*
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 3/4 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing

Directions

    Crisp the cabbage in ice water if necessary; drain thoroughly. Add remaining ingredients.
