- 2 lb. collard greens
- 1 c. vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 or 2 ham hocks
- 1 Tbsp. salt
Directions

1Wash greens and cut them.

2Place ham hocks in boiler with about 1 quart of water and let boil about 30 minutes.

3Then add oil, salt and sugar.

4Add greens and cook over medium heat.

5Stir about every 10 minutes and cook until tender.
