- 2 sheets pie crusts
- 1 cup grated cheese (I prefer cheddar.)
- 1/2 large onion, minced
- 1/2 cup bacon bits (or 4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled)
- salt
- pepper
- 1 egg, beaten
Directions

1Preheat oven to 400 degrees. (Follow the directions for your pie crust.).

2Place one of the pie crust sheets in a pie plate. Trim to fit the plate.

3Layer the ingredients in the pie crust in this order: cheese, onion, bacon, salt and pepper.

4Cover the pie with the 2nd pie crust. Trim and decorate as desired.

5Brush the top of the pie with the beaten egg.

6Bake for 30 to 45 minute.
