Ingredients

  • 1 (1 lb.) can beans (in tomato sauce)
  • 1 to 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 1/4 c. ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp. mustard
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. molasses
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 slices bacon, cooked
  • pinch of ginger

Directions

    In a quart casserole, combine beans with all ingredients, except bacon.

    Cut bacon into pieces. Add to beans. Bake, covered, in a 400° oven for 30 to 35 minutes.

    Makes 4 to 5 servings.
