- 2/3 c. water
- 1 1/3 Tbsp. vinegar
- dash of salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Beat egg whites until foamy.

2Add 2 tablespoons of sugar gradually; beat until stiff.

3Make syrup of rest of ingredients; boil to soft ball stage.

4Add syrup to egg whites slowly.

5Add vanilla.

6Set aside to cool.

7Beat until stiff enough to put on cake.

8If icing gets hard, add few drops of hot water.
