Ingredients
- 3/4 c. plain flour
- 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 2 to 4 tsp. cold milk
Directions

1Sift the flour into a bowl.

2Cut in the butter until mixture resembles very coarse meal.

3Add milk, 2 teaspoons at a time, mixing lightly until the dough looks and feels like pie crust dough.

4Use more milk, if needed.

5Form the dough into 2 balls. Wrap in waxed paper and chill for 1 hour or more.

6Place 1 ball on a lightly floured board.

7Roll until very thin and rectangular in shape.

8With help of a spatula, place on bottom of a cookie sheet. Score dough in 3/4-inch squares.

9Bake at 400° for 10 minutes or until brown.

10Lift from pan immediately.

11When cool, bread will break easily.
