- 20 lb. muscadines
- 5 qt. boiling water
- 10 c. sugar
Directions

1Crush berries.

2Place in a large stoneware crock.

3Cook with boiling water.

4Cover with lid on crock.

5Let set for 3 days.

6At end of the 3rd day, strain the juice and discard the pulp.

7Add sugar to juice.

8Stir to mix well.

9Place juice in an air-locked container for 3 months (5 gallon glass carkoy).

10Bottle the wine and place in your wine cellar or have a cheese and wine party for 50 friends.
