- 1 cut up chicken
- 1 lb. fresh mushrooms or 1 can
- 3 large onions
- 1 or 2 Tbsp. thyme
- 1 can Cheddar cheese soup
- Burgundy or red cooking wine
Directions

1Brown chicken in oil (enough to coat pan) at medium heat.

2In separate pan, brown mushrooms and onions in a little margarine. Season chicken with salt and pepper.

3Pour onions and mushrooms over chicken.

4Sprinkle on thyme until you can smell it.

5In empty frypan, empty soup and fill can with wine.

6Combine soup and wine over low heat.

7Pour over chicken and simmer for 45 minutes. Serve over rice.
