- 1 c. butter
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 1 pt. half and half
- 4 slices American cheese
- 1 carton whipping cream
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 carton dairy sour cream
- 1 lb. plus 1 Tbsp. self-rising corn meal
- 1 1/2 c. diced, cooked ham
Directions

1In a saucepan, melt 1/2 cup butter.

2Add flour and half and half.

3Cook until slightly thickened.

4Crumble in cheese; blend and allow mixture to cool.

5Add whipping cream, egg and sour cream, blending well after each addition.

6Add remaining butter (melted). Fold in corn meal.

7Fold in ham.

8Spread into 9 x 13-inch baking pan and bake in 350° oven for 50 to 60 minutes.
