  • 1/2 pkg. Pepperidge Farm herb stuffing
  • 1 small container sour cream
  • 1 can cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 onion, chopped fine
  • yellow summer squash, sliced and boiled 5 minutes and drained

Directions

    Combine sour cream, soup and sauteed onion (or dry onion). Line casserole dish with butter.

    Put 1/2 of stuffing mix on bottom of casserole dish.

    Put layer of squash on top.

    Pour 1/2 soup/sour cream mixture on top.

    Put layer of squash on.

    Pour rest of soup mixture on.

    Pour rest of stuffing mix on top.

    Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes until brown on top and bubbly.
