- 1 1/2 sticks margarine
- 1 lb. pkg. light brown sugar
- 2 3/4 c. sifted flour
- 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions

1Melt margarine and add sugar; cool slightly.

2Add eggs, one at a time; beat well.

3Add sifted dry ingredients, nuts and chocolate chips.

4Bake in a 10-inch square pan in 350° oven for 30 to 40 minutes.

5Cool and cut into 2-inch square bars.
