Ingredients

  • 1 small lemon or cherry jello
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 large can crushed pineapple
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 c. evaporated milk
  • 1 c. mild Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1/2 c. cherries, halved and drained
  • 1/2 c. whole pecans (I cut in pieces)

Directions

    Simmer 1/2 cup of water with the pineapple juice drained from the can.

    Add jello and stir while it is simmering until it is dissolved.

    Add mayonnaise and milk; beat with mixer.

    Add nuts, cherries, pineapple and cheese.

    Put in refrigerator until congealed.
